Duties & Responsibilities

1. Delivery Planning

   • Prepare and update daily dispatch schedules

   • Plan route-wise deliveries based on priority and urgency

   • Ensure alignment with the 24-hour delivery target

2. Vehicle & Load Planning

   • Allocate own/hired vehicles as per volume and route

   • Plan loads according to vehicle capacity

   • Avoid overloading or under-utilization

3. Coordination

   • Coordinate with Sales for delivery priority

   • Coordinate with Warehouse for product readiness

   • Coordinate with Transport In-charge and Drivers for vehicle and trip status

4. Trip Documentation

   • Ensure challan, VAT papers, and delivery instructions

   • Provide all required documents to drivers before dispatch

5. Dispatch Execution

   • Monitor loading and ensure on-time dispatch

   • Escalate issues causing delay (vehicle, goods, or manpower)

6. Delivery Monitoring

   • Track vehicles during transit

   • Follow up on delays, breakdowns, or route issues

7. Reporting

   • Maintain daily dispatch and delivery reports

   • Track planned vs. actual delivery status

   • Prepare reports as required by Head Office
