Job Context:
∎ As a Savoury Sous Chef, you are responsible for operating the pastry section of the kitchen while working closely with the Executive Chef. A Savoury Chef will also be required to plan production and develop seasonal offerings.
∎ Responsible to create high quality dishes with the standard recipes and presentations in order to maintain quality standards and consistency of product. Also assist in production and maintenance of ingredients of savoury items with proper rotation of products and maintain highest cleanliness and hygiene standard.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manages all day-to-day operations of the savoury section of the kitchen.
∎ Prepare a wide variety of goods especially brunch items. Soups, salads, wraps and breakfast items following traditional and modern recipes.
∎ Able to prepare MEP and also present/plate with finesse
∎ Able to develop, designs, or creates new ideas and items for Savoury Kitchen.
∎ Create new and exciting dishes to renew menus and engage the interest of customers
∎ Ensure excellent quality throughout the savoury offerings.
∎ Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
∎ Coordinates activities of staff engaged in food preparation.
∎ Supervise and coordinate in preparation and presentation of A La Carte
∎ Monitor stocks for ingredients and make appropriate orders within budget.
∎ Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
∎ Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
∎ Ensure proper foreseeability within all stations to confirm product is managed properly in order to execute prep procedures and service in a cost and time effective manner.
∎ Ensure the highest level of hygiene and food safety is adhered to by all personnel in the preparation and handling of food items.
∎ Ensure all inventory of food and equipment is accounted for and secured upon closing of kitchen. .
∎ Maintain composure and professionalism at all times, ensuring kitchen personnel are supported and prepared for peak hours.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good knowledge of different types of brunch, breakfast items
∎ Posses professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings.
∎ Positive attitude and Good communication skills.

Salary: Negotiable
