Experience:
Preferred: Certification in HSE/IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)/OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
Experience in high-rise & commercial building projects.
Good knowledge of building construction rules under MES, Govt. Projects & Foreign Turnkey projects.
Strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
Ability to conduct safety inspections & audits.
Should know TBM (Tool Box Meeting), TBT (Tool Box Talk) and report making.
Good communication & workforce monitoring ability.
Should have patience to work under pressure.
We are looking for Safety Supervisor-Construction, those who is the right talent for this position.
Adequate knowledge of construction equipment & profession.
Monitor daily safety, security, and housekeeping at assigned construction project sites.
Educate workers & employees about the company's safety policy and procedures that they need to follow strictly.
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefing & worker induction training.
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) & safe working procedures before workers begin of day works at the site.
Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards, Bangladesh Labor Law, RAJUK & BNBC guidelines.
Ensure the fire protection system, proper protection for electrical works and safe dumping of construction materials.
Inspect scaffolding, formwork, lifting equipment, electrical work, excavation and working platforms.
Regularly inspect and identify safety weakness/ violations and health hazards and rectify those.
Maintain safety documentation, safety logs, checklists, and incident/accident reports.
Risk assessment of location/work process.
Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers and Contractors also assist in enforcing Zero-Accident Culture.
Ensure visitors safety procedure.
Perform accident investigations to gauge measures that need to be taken to prevent them for repeating next time.
Communication with head office regarding implementation works.
Any other work assign by Management from time to time.
