BRAC Bank PLC is currently seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and purpose-driven professional to join its Risk Management Division in the mentioned position:

Grade: SO -SPO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive complete loan applications from the business team in accordance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and BRAC Bank’s PPG-Policy guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive site visits to customers’ business premises to assess creditworthiness and visit guarantors on a case-by-case basis to ensure adequate loan security.
  • Perform a 360 degree credit assessment covering business model viability, repayment capacity, financial analysis, seasonality, buyer–supplier relationships, industry dynamics, market behavior, CIB findings, and overall policy compliance.
  • Prepare the Credit Approval Memo and facilitate loan approval in line with BRAC Bank’s Delegation of Lending Authority (DLA).
  • Ensure timely loan processing by maintaining the standard turnaround time (TAT) for CRM activities.
  • Update CRM MIS at each processing stage and maintain regular communication with the MIS team.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Small Business Team, Operations, and relevant stakeholders to address bottlenecks and support efficient decision-making.
  • Monitor repayments of the loan portfolio assigned to the respective SME Unit Office and associated Relationship Officers/Executives.
  • Track repayment behavior of accounts for which the Risk Manager has served as Analyst and/or Approver.
  • Identify early warning signals, prepare case studies when necessary, and recommend timely corrective actions.
  • Conduct offsite monitoring of portfolio quality and promptly report any irregularities.
  • Organize monthly coordination meetings with business and collection teams to review rejected proposals, turnaround time, and portfolio quality.
  • Serve as a trainer for business teams on credit assessment standards, risk management policies, and loan documentation procedures.
  • Participate in process automation and simplification initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen risk management practices.
