Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Textile Engineering or Background in Textile, Leather and Knitwear
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive the overall implementation of quality requirements, methods and routines.
∎ Continuously evaluate methods and routines and initiate improvements if needed
∎ Set impactful goals aligned with the long-term quality strategy for the product
∎ Ensure that the Quality team is achieving the goals
∎ Evaluate current quality problems/stopped orders/customer claims and how to avoid them in future
∎ Secure production lead times through securing production cut-off dates
∎ Lead the team specific to the product group in all areas of Quality, Quality control, Quality assurance & Technicians
∎ Build a strong quality team with the right knowledge in the Countries, evaluate and secure quality organizations in accordance with present and future needs/challenges
∎ Secure quality routines and internal quality audit
∎ Be a good role model - evaluate individual staff performance while working actively with motivation, feedback and development dialogue. Establish a culture of standing for organizational values
∎ Ensure that Technicians and Quality Control cooperate to secure good overlapping sampling in production
∎ Foresee potential problems and be proactive. Prepare necessary measures along with teams to secure the future
∎ Make and implement timely and effective decisions
∎ Maintain strong cooperation & communication with managers and other concerned parties within the Country to promote quality with the customer in mind
∎ Establish and maintain good communication with the Global Product Compliance Department / Global Product Quality Manager
∎ Ensure the best quality product through cooperation between R&D, the Supply Chain Manager/Product Manager, Capacity Assurance Manager, Sustainability and Logistics in the production team
∎ Maintain close cooperation with other Production teams' Product Quality Managers
∎ Update stakeholders regularly about all ongoing quality improvement activities
∎ Drive trust and integrity within your own team through a 'zero tolerance' approach towards violations of the Code of Ethics
∎ Secure that our suppliers understand and follow all related standards and requirements
∎ Define the needs of specific product capabilities of suppliers to support business opportunities
∎ Evaluate supplier capacity and capability and support their growth
∎ Be involved in developing and maintaining supplier relationships
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10-12 years of relevant experience in Quality Management field;
∎ Previous work experience in European company will be preferred
∎ H&M Internal candidates will be preferred
∎ Good command of English
∎ Able to use all Microsoft applications
∎ Experience of handling different Projects
∎ Good communicator: to other function department, to team members, to global and other regions
∎ Good leadership: can lead the team in an improving, promising, harmonized way
Salary: Negotiable
