Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Forestry, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Forestry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To look after quality control activities of a shift.
∎ Sampling and analysis of raw material including documentation.
∎ To perform moisture and density analysis test of raw wood chips.
∎ To perform flakes dimension and fractional analysis test as well as screen analysis test.
∎ Sampling and testing physical and mechanical properties of particle board and maintaining proper documentation.
∎ Responsible for each aspect of quality control of the product of a complete shift.
∎ Doing in-line inspection to check the quality.
∎ To perform QC instrument operation (UTM, vibrating shifter, desiccator etc.)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Wood water relationships, physical and mechanical properties of wood, wood physics, wood chemistry, wood based panel production and its properties , wood seasoning and preservation.
∎ Education workers on the required standards.
∎ Must have good computer skill and able to operates Ms (office, Excel, power point) etc.
∎ Maximum capacity to work under pressure.
Salary: Negotiable
