Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accomplish operational objectives by recruiting, onboarding and managing employees.
∎ Direct the delivery of the approved works programmed to the manager.
∎ Manage, coach, mentor, motivate and lead the staff of the electrical department to develop a supportive, self-managed, team-based culture whose combined aim is the successful completion of the program of work and employee development.
∎ Provide direction on contract administration and performance management of electrical department.
∎ Evaluate and approve material, instrument variation and time extension claims and approve capital & maintenance work contract.
∎ Establish and adjust the resource levels to achieve organizational targets and objectives.
∎ Maintain current knowledge of new and emerging technology to ensure optimal application in the workplace.
∎ Achieve the organizational vision by establishing clear objectives and empowering the section heads to achieve set deliverables.
∎ Provide input on strategies for the development of infrastructures such as electrical maintenance, utility maintenance.
∎ Maintain current knowledge of new and emerging technology to ensure optimal application in the workplace.
∎ Liaise with other utilities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
∎ Provide professional and technical advice to the Executive Team and Management.
∎ Maintain current knowledge of new and emerging technology to ensure optimal application in the workplace.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 38 years
∎ Basic safety, quality focus, process improvement, leadership, report writing skills, project management, vendor subcontractor relationship building and maintenance.
