Education:
∎ Diploma in Textile Engineering, Bachelor/Honors
∎ Degree or Higher Diploma in Garments, Quality Management or related disciplines.

∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum of 5 years of experience in the garment industry is preferred.
∎ Experience in QA for sportswear and casual wear is advantageous.
∎ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Capable of thinking big-picture, anticipating problems and implementing corrective actions.
∎ Proficient in English.
∎ Good computer skills, including basic Microsoft Office and Internet navigation.
∎ Flexibility to travel locally is required.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Establish and manage the operations of BasicNet Group in Bangladesh.
∎ Oversee and coordinate Kappa-branded apparel production activities within the country.
∎ Ensure that all produced garments meet BasicNet’s quality standards and compliance requirements.
∎ Collaborate with the Asian merchandising and QA teams under the leadership of the Group’s Head of QA in Hong Kong.
∎ Communicate daily with the vendors in Bangladesh to ensure they follow the Group’s requirements in terms of quality, compliance, original design (including measurements, brand logo standards, fitting and packing instructions).
∎ Work closely with both the buying houses and the factories below them to maintain production standards.
∎ Collect the vendors’ internal QC reports of inline inspections and enter data into the company’s own web platform.
∎ Upon request from the merchandising team or the Head of Quality, collect samples to be tested by the nominated lab.
∎ Organize weekly trips to the factories to perform inline and final inspections.
