• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with regression, integration, API, and UAT testing.
• Proficiency with testing and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, JMeter, Burp Suite).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to contribute to continuous QA process improvements.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, and HTTP/REST APIs.
• Scripting/programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Job Context:

Ensures high-quality, reliable software by designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with development teams as a skilled QA Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, cross-browser, and UAT testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and REST-assured, validating responses, status codes, and headers.
• Log, track, and verify defects in Jira with detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing QA insights to team decisions.
• Document test results, prepare quality reports, and support test coverage analysis.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level SQA engineers when needed.
