Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 7 institutions and 15 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Project Manager of “Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project- ll" (UPHCSDP-ll), RCC, PA-1 Project at Rajshahi directed by Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), implemented by Rajshahi City Corporation.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with PMU and PIU in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the project activities and also in developing future strategies by making recommendations;
∎ Monitor project activities and supervise the work of supervisee staff directly through regular field visit and providing on-site technical assistance (hand on training);
∎ Organize and facilitate monthly staff meeting to review progress and develop actions for further improvements and reach the contract conditions;
∎ Preparation of the annual work plan with target (quality, coverage and goals), budget and project implementation report;
∎ Introduce Individual Performance Management (IPM) system into the project and facilitate annual staff appraisal system in a participatory manner;
∎ Attend the Project related meetings to get informed on project activities, strategies, policies and goals and seek inputs and directions;
∎ Closely work with PIU, PMU to seek inputs to effectively implement the project activities as per set standards and strategies;
∎ Coordinate with relevant government agencies and other NGOs and private entities providing health care services in the Partnership Agreement Area (PAA), and achieve synergy and avoid duplication;
∎ Any other responsibility as designated from time to time assigned by the supervisor;
∎ Maintain rules and regulations of Project and Organization;
∎ Ensure timely development and submission of periodic reports;
∎ Regularly update Director, Health sector, DAM on the Project activities and achievements;
∎ Ensure proper filing of records for the Project’s activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ At least 7 years of working experience in health management. Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in any project involved in PHC service delivery.
∎ Experience in quality assurance monitoring and supportive supervision is highly desirable.
∎ Experience is desirable in behavioral change communication and poverty focused program implementation.
∎ Experience in Urban health programming will be an added advantage for this position.
∎ A degree in MPH would get priority, provided other conditions have been fulfilled.
∎ Staff who have worked in similar positions in UPHCP will be given preference and the education qualification of such person may or may not be relaxed at the discretion of the Tender evaluation committee.
∎ Excellent computer knowledge is required.

Salary: Tk. 56525 (Monthly)
