Job Context:
∎ BRAC is implementing a 3-year long project titled`` AGNEE- Awareness, Action, and Advocacy for Gender-equal and Safe Spaces for Women and Girls`` funded by the EU. The overall objective of this project is to contribute to protection and promotion of women and girls` enjoyment of human rights, gender equality, and the empowerment of women and girls by promoting sexual harassment (SH) and violence-free public spaces, workplaces and digital platforms. The specific result areas of this project are: Enhanced capacity of CSOs to act as a focal to address SH and GBV in work & public places including digital space; increased community awareness and increased linkages with support services strengthens access to services; strengthened SH & GBV mechanism at workplaces & public places contributes to harassment & violence free environment for women; and strengthened SH & GBV mechanism at workplaces & public places contributes to harassment & violence free environment for women.

∎ As Project Manager, he/she will be responsible overall field management and implementation of AGNEE Project, partnership management and donor liaison. The incumbent will also coordinate with different projects under social compliance and other BRAC programmes for avoiding duplication, maximizing resources and supporting advocacy initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Leads the process of developing / revising project implementation plan; annual plans and budgets of the project in collaboration with the implementing partner and in alignment with the donor's budget.
∎ Coordinates with partner for supporting partner's implementation process including detailed implementation plan development, monitoring and mobilization of technical supports.
∎ Coordinates with MEAL Coordinator/ Specialist for developing M&E framework for this project following guideline of BRAC and donor and ensures quality monitoring of the project performance at community, partner and central level.
∎ Provides support and liaises on ADR and case management process.
∎ Ensures the interventions/activities are implemented at the best quality with the most competitive costs.
∎ Prepares quality donor reports for the projects by providing guidance, improving the established protocols and building capacity of the relevant project staff members as necessary.
∎ Creates evidences on Sexual Harassment and Gender-based Violence issues with proper documentation for supporting national level advocacy initiatives.
∎ Ensures that the project team operates as a high-performance team respected by and adding tangible value to achieving project objectives.
∎ Works with all divisions of an organization, including people management, quality improvement, financial management, compliance, and internal communications.
∎ Collaborates with district administration authority and also liaise with the relevant government like Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA) and the Ministry of Social Welfare (MSW), Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs (MLJPA) for supporting policy influence.
∎ Manages field operations budget ensuring all expenditures are done according to approved budget and takes appropriate measures if non-budgeted expenditures are required at field level
∎ Ensures the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Acts as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practices, promotes and endorses the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follows the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ At least 8 years' experience with NGOs / international development organization and out of 8 years at least 5 years' experience in project management or programme is required.
∎ Substantial experience in delivering medium to large scale programmes/projects.
∎ Experience of working on safeguarding focus and legal supports for the survivors.
∎ Experience in donor funded project (EU, USAID, FCDO etc) will get advantage.
∎ Current national and global development trends related to gender-based violence and safeguarding
∎ Development, women empowerment, community organizing and social mobilization, rights -based approach, gender, good governance, access to information, SDGs
∎ Project cycle and result based management
∎ Leadership, people management and implementation skills
∎ Decision making and problem solving skills
∎ Communication and documentation skills
∎ Sound knowledge on operational management of projects/programmes
∎ Rights based approach
