Education:
∎ Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management, Engineering or Urban Planning. Excellent verbal and communication skills in English.

∎ Minimum 15 years of professional experience in project management, particularly managing donor-funded projects of similar size and nature. S/He should have extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in urban settings. Proven track record of managing projects related to climate resilience, urban development, or similar sectors.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Project Management Specialist will work under the direct supervision of the Project Director and
∎ in coordination with the Team Leader, AMC. Serving as an individual consultant for CCAUD Phase II,
∎ s/he will be based in the project office in Khulna.
∎ Service duration will be 55 person-months from date of joining. S/He will support the Project
∎ Director and Team Leader, AMC with all project-related activities, including administrative and
∎ financial support, as well as monitoring the service delivery of both the Implementation Consultant
∎ (IC) and the Accompanying Measure Consultant (AMC). Additionally, s/he will manage all
∎ communication protocols between the Client, donor, AMC, IC, and stakeholders.
∎ Hydroplan, a German consulting firm, in JV with SWS, an Italian consulting firm, is managing the KfW funded Climate Change Adapted Urban Development, Phase II Khulna – Accompanying Measure Consultant (AMC) for Khulna City Corporation (KCC). As part of the AMC, an individual consultant is being recruited for the position of 'Project Management Specialist’.
