Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any recognized university/institution.

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience, preferably in industrial construction projects.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, BOQ analysis, and bar bending schedules.

• Familiarity with PWD, RAJUK, and LGED specifications and documentation procedures.

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project (or similar tools).

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates from Chattogram or willing to stay at the project site are highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed work schedules, resource plans, and method statements.

• Organize site setup, manpower mobilization, and material planning.

• Execute the project as per design, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality work.

• Act as the key liaison between head office management, site team, and clients/consultants.

• Coordinate daily site operations including civil, structural, and finishing works.

• Resolve site-level and technical issues efficiently.

• Attend site meetings with consultants and clients.

• Ensure that all works are executed following approved drawings and instructions.

• Prepare and submit RFI, work inspection requests, and daily/weekly progress reports.

• Monitor site budget utilization and minimize wastage of resources and manpower.

• Approve requisitions for materials and labor based on actual requirements.

• Coordinate with procurement and store departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Track progress versus project schedule and update management regularly.

• Identify project delays and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain all site-related records, documentation, and correspondence.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.

• Conduct inspections to ensure work meets approved quality benchmarks.

• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines and ensure all personnel use PPE.
