Job Context:
∎ Duty Station: Dhaka (with frequent visit to Cumilla, Patuakhali, Rangpur and Rajshahi)
∎ The Government of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh (GoB) is implementing the "Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE): Reintegration of Returning Migrants" project with a soft loan from the World Bank.Under the project, the Wage Earners` Welfare Board (WEWB) has taken the initiative to set up a reintegration programme for returnee migrants.
∎ WARBE Development Foundation as sub consultant with The International Organization (IOM) in Bangladesh as the lead consultant will support WEWB with the implementation of counseling and migrant workers welfare services through the establishment and operation of Welfare Centers (WCs) in the 30 selected districts in Bangladesh.The major activities under the WCs are to identify and select returnee migrants (as per selection criteria), provide psychosocial counseling, refer the beneficiaries to needful support and services from the respective service provider organizations, and provide cash incentives to the selected beneficiaries.
∎ WARBE Development Foundation is seeking 01 (one) suitable candidates for Project Coordinatorposition who will be placed at Dhaka Head Office with frequent visit to 4 MWWCs, to be establishedin Cumilla, Patuakhali,Rajshahi and Rangpurdistricts respectively to support WEWB with the implementation of counseling and migrant workers welfare services.Under the overall guidance of the WARBE Development Foundation, the Project Coordinatorwill be responsible for the tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, implement, supervise, manage and coordinate all components of the project to achieve the project objectives and results.
∎ Coordinate all project activities and be the main contact point for the RAISE project.
∎ Ensure programme management and financial management functions collaboratively and in compliance with accepted standards.
∎ Manage the development and execution of RAISE project deliverables, project planning, monitoring, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes etc.
∎ Frequent field visit to ensure the quality of field programmes through direct monitoring.
∎ Coordinate for developing a comprehensive list of existing services and providers that will respond to the specific needs of migrants in each Migrant Workers Welfare Center (MWWC) district.
∎ Support in developing training curriculum and guidelines for counseling.
∎ Maintain and coordinate the management of the MWWC in 4 selected districts.
∎ Support the PMU with developing and implementing outreach activities, including local Public Information Campaign (PIC) to ensure maximum outreach and awareness of the program among migrants.
∎ Support in organising the upazila-level mass registration drive at the start of the program by collecting information on migration status and conducting an eligibility verification process for potential beneficiaries.
∎ Organize orientation sessions to give migrants a preliminary understanding of their potential path to reintegration or remigration and help them be better informed before the more intensive and individualized sessions with counseling personnel at the MWWC.
∎ Coordinate the psychosocial counseling and profiling of the returning migrant through interviews and questionnaires.
∎ Responsible for conducting and facilitating community advocacy and mobilization activities at a regular frequency.
∎ Responsible for data management and monitoring supervision and reporting.
∎ Maintain liaison with different stakeholders at the national, district and upazila level and other authorities working in the migration field.
∎ Responsible for communication with IOM and PMU.
∎ Attend various meetings at the district/upazila level and present the project activities before government authorities regularly.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by Management of WARBE Development Foundation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have Computer proficiency in MS office.
∎ Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar field.
∎ The ability to work under pressure is essential.
∎ Must be good in writing and speaking in English and Bangla, i.e. monitoring report, field visit report, event report, case study/story, press release, content writing etc.
∎ Timely decision-making ability as well as multi-tasking capacity.
∎ Strong commitment to organizational values, integrity, respect, commitment and solidarity.
∎ Excellent verbal & written communication skills in Bangla and English.
