Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline (Preferably Disaster Management, Development studies, Social Science) from any renowned university.
∎ Minimum 3 first divisions / Class/ CGPA 3.00 (out of 4).
∎ No 3rd division/class will be considered

Job Context:
∎ Background: DRRA is one of the largest development organizations in the field of disability in Bangladesh, devoted to the inclusive society and operating programs in 30 districts with implementing partners. It is working to make positive changes in the lives of persons with disabilities through creating an enabling environment and inclusive society. DRRA is promoting multi-sector Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) which covers the key domains of well-being: health, education, livelihood, social inclusion and the empowerment of persons with disabilities and their families.
∎ DRRA is planning to appoint a Project Coordinator for implement its` project namely `CCDIDRM (Community Centered Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Management)`. Project Coordinator will independently lead the project for implementation in the field under direct supervision of Program Manager - DRM & CCA and overall guidance of Team Leader/Head-Program of DRRA. S/he should be sound on effective leadership, planning, implementation, commitment to rights of Persons with Disabilities in Disaster Risk Management.
∎ Type of the position: Contractual for 2 years 9 months with possibility of extension upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
∎ Reporting to: Program Manager- DRM& CCA Direct supervision: 05-07 staffs
∎ Relationships: Internal- MIS, QA, Technical and Monitoring & Evaluation team, External- Multi-level stakeholders: local Disaster Management, Health, Education and local government, DPOs including all Beneficiaries.
∎ Duty Station: Project Office, CCDIDRM at Satkhira district with frequent field visits to project areas and Head office of DRRA at Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement DRRA CCDIDRM project with Planning, Coordination, monitoring & evaluation are key area where need to perform;
∎ Maintain good relationships with local authorities;
∎ Supervise the production of project periodical reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly); Contribute to wider organizational goals within all the stakeholders at local level;
∎ Build Technical capacity of the project staffs regarding DRM and inclusive livelihood.
∎ Coordinate between the Program, Administration & Finance management of the field administration as well as project team;
∎ Performing any other duties and responsibilities as per the directives of the Line Manager;
∎ Candidates must be capable of displaying great learning ability, support and encouragement of knowledge sharing across program/projects, to the ultimate benefit of all of DRRA's mission wide initiatives.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ At least 5 year(s) as a program staffs and 3 years managerial experiences of relevant field
∎ Understanding of Disaster Management/ Climate Change/livelihood for disability issue is preferable
∎ Good understanding on Project Cycle Management and budget management;
∎ Previous working experiences with rural community as well as experience with project for Disaster and disability is a crosscutting issue.
∎ Good communication skills both oral and written in English and Bangla; Good computer skills e.g. MS words, power point, Outlook, excels etc; Experience in Training conducts & and training module development;
∎ Networking and Collaboration with Govt. & others stakeholders at local level;

Salary: Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly consolidated salary along with other admissible benefits as per project budget and, or DRRA policy
