Experience:
Prepare financial requisitions in accordance with approved project budgets and ensure proper budget availability before initiating expenditures.
Review program requisitions, verify budget compliance and supporting documents, obtain necessary approvals, and arrange payments accordingly.
Manage project advances, including issuance of advances, maintaining advance registers, monitoring outstanding advances, and ensuring timely adjustment and settlement.
Ensure proper day-to-day recording of all project financial transactions in Tally accounting software.
Maintain books of accounts in compliance with applicable statutory requirements, DRRA financial policies, donor requirements, and internal control procedures.
Manage project treasury functions, including fund requests, fund receipts, fund flow, disbursements, cash management, and timely adjustment of advances.
Review invoices, bills, payment requests, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, proper authorization, and compliance before processing payments.
Prepare and/or review payment bills, vouchers, expense summaries, advance statements, and reports on outstanding advances.
Support the preparation of regular Budget Variance Analysis Reports for project management and ensure timely identification of significant budget variances.
Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
Verify travel statements, travel claims, and other reimbursement requests and ensure proper accounting and documentation.
Ensure that all project-related reimbursements and claims are properly accounted for, adequately supported by required documents, and reported as required by donors and DRRA management.
Prepare financial and administrative reports and information required by project management, donors, auditors, and DRRA management.
Maintain project administrative records, including employee files, attendance, leave records, official correspondence, and other relevant documentation.
Support to conduct project events, meetings, workshops, training, and other program activities.
Maintain stock of office consumables, including stationery and logistics items, and ensure proper recording and updating of stock registers.
Perform any other finance, accounts, and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor or project management.
