Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate or post-graduate studies in Agriculture from recognized universities
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Project Management, Business Development, Distribution/ Supply Chain Management, Market Research
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee all activities of this project.
∎ Selection of farmers for value chain development.
∎ Provide necessary approval for all field-level transactions.
∎ Provide proper guidance to develop or introduce various technologies for vegetable production.
∎ Provide necessary support for a nature-based solution to reduce the vulnerability of reference people.
∎ Ensure timely, high-quality implementation and support that adheres to project work plans.
∎ Prepare a high-quality report based on the log frame and theory of change.
∎ Find an appropriate solution for the farmers to develop a strong value chain of vegetables.
∎ Capacity development initiatives to enhance confidence and skills among the reference people that will sustain beyond the project period.
∎ Managing and reviewing the performance of the team and individual team members.
∎ Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders especially local government, Upazila, and District administration.
∎ Contribute to reporting, monitoring, and providing technical guidance to staff members.
∎ Organize meetings with other stakeholders for relationship building and act together for value chain development.
∎ Provide necessary guidance for financial monitoring at the project level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Considerable experience in planning, Strategic thinking, Analytical skills, and Influencing and negotiation skills with different stakeholders.
∎ Result-driven personality
∎ Substantial experience (minimum 5 years) in implementing value chain or marketing projects.
∎ Confidence and belief in sustainable social-economic development through strong cooperation between private sectors and NGOs.
∎ Clear understanding of pro-poor value chain development engaging private sectors.
∎ A strong commitment to gender equality and addressing other diversity perspectives; and direct experience in supporting women's empowerment, and rights-based approaches to poverty alleviation.
Salary: Tk. 60000 - 65000 (Monthly)
