Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS), Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ Master's in social science ( peace and conflict studies or any other relevant subject)/MBA
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Administrative, Communication, Conflict management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ In Collaboration with other consortium partners s/he will plan, organize, implement and coordinates the overall operational activities of the project.
∎ Ensures that Peace promotion activities are implemented in accordance to the procedures, principles, work plan and operational guidelines.
∎ Lead and facilitate regular meetings with project team, participates in wider coordination meetings and ensures dissemination of progress to relevant project stakeholders.
∎ Participate partner's meeting.
∎ Continuously evaluates the appropriateness of the Peace Building activities and suggests changes and improvements as required.
∎ Implements the budgetary guidelines and other necessary compliances for the project under his/her responsibility as adopted in the general agreement with funding agency.
∎ Develops and implements financial controls and monitors all project related financial transactions and expenditures to assure that the project activities are implemented within the approved budget.
∎ Provides regular support and supervision to staff members under direct line management.
∎ Develop and maintain formal and informal communication mechanisms with other partners of the consortium, funding agency, respective government institutions, community partners and other stakeholders.
∎ Oversees progress across the project including best practice examples and ensure documentation of experience and lessons learned.
∎ Deliver formal presentations to the counterparts about program progress, challenges, and lessons learned and needed adjustments.
∎ Prepare regular report as per the agreement with funding agency.
∎ Any other tasks deemed necessary for the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 7 to 10 years of working experience in relevant field including at least five years in management and supervision position.
∎ Experience in managing USAID/EU funded project will be an added advantage.
∎ Basic understanding on confliction resolution, conflict transformation, peace building tools and techniques, "Do NO HARM" approach.
∎ Excellent skill in problem solving, analyzing and team building.
∎ Ability to handle a large team
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English and Bangla
∎ Demonstrated Skill in budget preparation and management
∎ Demonstrated ability to prepare high compliance donor reports, and other documents
∎ Excellent team management, leadership and presentation skill.
∎ Ability to adapt the changes and work in tense situations.
∎ Excellent Computer skill.
Salary: Negotiable
