∎ Location of posting: Gabtoli Upazilla under Bogura District
∎ Types of contract: Contractual
∎ Duration of Contract: Up to 31 December 2019, with possibility of 02 years extension.
∎ JOB SUMMARY
∎ The objective of the position is to Manage overall relevant stakeholders to implement the "Making market work for women". To bring sustainable and systemic changes in existing market behaviors that will enable women to perform in the agri-value chain and systemic changes in existing market behaviors that will enable women to perform in the agri-value chain. Project towards create and boost up opportunities for women social and economic development. The general functions of the Project Coordinator is to assist different level of Staff to implement of project intervention to address issue of unpaid care work, promote gender, prepare action plan; reporting, and event management. Liaison and networking with Different GO & NGOs in terms of share Project goal, objectives and Output Results and initiate Theory of Change conversation and build common ownership.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT:
∎ To bring sustainable and systemic changes in existing market behaviors that will enable women to perform in the agri-value chain.
∎ To improve sexual and reproductive health rights and nutrition situation of women, their families and the wider community.
∎ Assist to Organize a visibility workshop with broader stakeholders
∎ To assist FF for Increase awareness of targeted beneficiaries on the importance of adequate Sexual Reproductive Health and nutrition issues like food diversity, different types of food intake, improved diet, nutrition counseling, food-borne illness, routine health - vaccination, regular check-up, compulsory breast feeding and its benefits.
∎ Assist FF f or identify needs of pregnant women, lactating women, infant/ young children, married adolescent girls, and elderly population. Needs assessment and identify the priorities.
∎ Assist to develop resource pack on adequate nutrition based on community needs assessment (SP) including topics such as reproductive healthcare, sex-education, safe-sex practices, birth control, and personal hygiene.
∎ Periodic Conduct case documentation for Increase knowledge and awareness of school teachers and students on SRH and adequate nutrition on progress.
∎ Create linkages between Union Parishad (UP) Standing Committees and targeted schools to raise awareness of school students, school management and parents on SRH and nutrition (Combined meeting between Education, Health and Family Welfare)
∎ Assist FF for Activate Union Parishad (UP) Standing Committees in the target unions
∎ Establish effective linkages by facilitate meetings between intended women groups and local community clinics and other government health facilities through which SRHR service, Family Planning and other commodities, and counseling care will be regularly provided
∎ To Identify the available public services & support on SRHR at union and sub-district level (in accordance with the community needs assessment) and share with group leaders .
∎ Develop technical skill and capacity of entrepreneur groups by facilitating linkages with public / private technical providers in the community.
∎ Sensitize market actors and local government on women access and creating enabling environment for women entrepreneurs
∎ Establish network(s) among targeted women (women entrepreneurs and IGA) in order to enable networking leadership and knowledge sharing.
∎ Advocate for increased budget allocation for women agro-entrepreneurs by facilitating linkages between project, policy makers, entrepreneur federation members, women agro-entrepreneur group leaders.
∎ Assist Union Parishad budget to assess allocation for women agro-entrepreneurs by linking entrepreneur federations and women agro-entrepreneur groups with Democratic Budget.
∎ Document and assess MMWW Process (achievement, challenges, learning, outcomes, etc) throughout the entire project duration.
∎ Assist to Conduct survey and final evaluation and prepare report.
∎ Assist to link issues with local and national level movement, networks etc.
∎ Develop IGA Module and facilitate different training on unpaid care work, sustainable agriculture, market access and stop violence against women
∎ Assist on women rights and economic empowerment issues
∎ REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION:
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, six monthly and annual reports, and case study as per requirement.
∎ RELATIONSHIPS
∎ S/he will report to Director Program of ASEAB and communicate with Actionaid designated.

Additional Requirements:
∎ TECHNICAL
∎ The incumbents should have experience in planning, designing and guiding the implementation of the project activities in the rural areas; experienced in market system and value chain; experienced in developing project implementation strategy, guidelines and management tools; experienced in developing training modules and materials, organizing and facilitating the training sessions at the community, UP/Municipality, Upazila and District level; dynamic, have knowledge about budget preparation, monitoring of expenses, report preparation at the different stage of the project; good knowledge on monitoring and evaluation activities, designing monitoring tools for the project.
∎ GENERAL
∎ Good communication skill in English and Bangla; good knowledge on staff supervision, mentoring, coaching and development; good skills in computer operation especially with MS-Word, power point and spread sheet, internet and email applications; willing to work in pressure situation and interested to visit the remote areas of Bangladesh; hardworking and good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team; experienced in communication, liaison and collaborating with the GO/NGO officials.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 54134 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly Gross Salary.
