• Strong experience in developing and implementing project control systems, procedures, and governance frameworks for major infrastructure or industrial projects.

• Hands-on experience with project planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms.

• Experience working with project information systems, cost management systems, and project reporting tools.

• Proven ability to manage project budgets, cost forecasts, schedule performance, and risk registers.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior management, project leadership teams, contractors, and suppliers.

• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

• Fluency in English is required.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in project controls, project services, or project management environments.

• Extensive experience supporting large-scale capital projects in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, industrial developments, or logistics infrastructure.

• Proven experience leading project controls functions including planning, cost control, risk management, change management, and project reporting.

• Demonstrated experience supporting major EPC or capital development projects involving complex stakeholder environments.

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management activities.

Laldia Container Terminal Limited is undertaking the development of the Laldia Container Terminal, a greenfield container terminal located near Chattogram, Bangladesh. The terminal will feature modern quay infrastructure, advanced container handling equipment, and operational capabilities designed to support growing regional trade and logistics demand.

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to join the project leadership team and drive the implementation and governance of the project controls function across the terminal development project.

The role will be responsible for ensuring robust project planning, cost management, reporting, risk management, and change control processes are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Controls Lead will work closely with the Project Director and technical leadership team to provide integrated project controls oversight and ensure the project is delivered in line with approved scope, schedule, and budget.
