Experience:

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally across shipping, logistics. insurance, manufacturing, or multinational environments.

• Proven experience in country finance leadership roles and board-level exposure.

• Strong background in treasury management, liquidity optimization, and macro-economic risk management (FOREX, interest rate exposure).

• Demonstrated success in ERP implementations, finance transformation, and shared services migration.

• Experience managing regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into business action.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

We are seeking a seasoned and commercially astute Head of Finance to lead the finance function in Bangladesh. The role will serve as a key member of the Country Leadership Team, partnering closely with business leaders to drive financial performance, governance. transformation initiatives, and strategic growth across the organization.

This position requires a hands-on leader with strong experience in shipping, logistics, or multinational environments, capable of operating in complex and evolving markets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end finance function including financial reporting, planning & analysis. treasury, tax, compliance, and governance.

• Serve as a strategic business partner to the Country Managing Director and leadership team, driving profitability, liquidity management, and sustainable growth.

• Ensure full compliance with local statutory, regulatory, and group reporting requirements (IFRS).

• Drive working capital optimization, cash flow management, and treasury initiatives.

• Oversee shared services interactions and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of financial processes.

• Lead business transformation initiatives including system implementations (e.g.. SAP/ERP), process migrations, and structural improvements.

• Support M&A activities, integration processes, and harmonization of systems, controls, and people structures where applicable.

• Represent the finance function in board discussions and contribute to strategic decision-making.

• Strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance standards.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
