Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters from any reputed university. Masters in Public Health and Health Economics will be prioritized.
Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 7 institutions and 15 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Program Officer (Implementation) under Health Sector.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining lesion, coordination and collaboration with relevant government officials and higher level advocacy with relevant ministries and policy makers for health care financing;
∎ Designing, planning, implementing, monitoring health care financing project activities through the coordination with relevant government/non-government stakeholders;
∎ Preparing annual, quarterly and monthly plan of actions with target considering the quality, coverage and goals of project and submit to the project manager;
∎ Monitoring project activities through regular field visit and sharing the findings with respective staffs for further improvement of quality services;
∎ Organizing and facilitating different events related to health care financing;
∎ Develop IEC/BCC materials related to advocacy & health care financing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 5+ years of comprehensive work experience in the fields of health care financing, primary health care, immunization program and high level advocacy, preferably in the context of an NGO background will be preferable;
∎ Advocacy with policy makers level will treat as advantage;
∎ Communication, report writing, presentation and negotiation skills;
∎ Proficient in English (oral and written).
∎ Age at most 45 years (Age may be considered for experienced candidate).
