Job Context:
∎ World Concern, an International Non-Government Organization has Education programs, Health program, Child right, Disaster Preparedness Program, Micro-finance programs, Capacity Building and organizational development program both in rural and urban areas in Bangladesh. We are searching an energetic, smart & potential candidates for the following one (1) key positions for its new Project - PARIBARTAN at Kalapara area under Patuakhali district:
∎ Location: Based in Kolapara, Potuakhali

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Role of the position: Promote human rights, justice and good governance in the community through education, training, awareness building and non-violent social action in the respective working area.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ To conduct training on local advocacy to existing union level standing committee (Family conflict resolution, Women & child affairs committee).
∎ To organize Advocacy & planning workshop with union level standing committee.
∎ To arrange Campaign on 'BRIDE NOT BEFORE 18' & 'Stop violence on women' for mass awareness at Upazila level.
∎ To follow up bimonthly meeting with standing committee.
∎ To conduct Day Observation: Observe International Women's Day & Observe National Girls Child Day at Upazila level.
∎ Organize dialogue sessions with community people, religious leaders, journalists, teachers, professionals and duty bearers that support community members to transform their attitude by challenging harmful social norms.
∎ To conduct an Orientation on Transforming Masculinities (TM) for staffs
∎ Responsible for Mapping & identification/selection community congregations.
∎ To train Faith & Community Leaders (F&CL) on TM
∎ To make awareness at community with Faith and community leaders
∎ To equip F&CL with materials for sensitization (TM module), reporting materials, visibility.
∎ To organize quarterly the peer-learning sessions for Faith and community leaders.
∎ To conduct Training of trainers with gender champions (Unnayan Sathi) in TM approach and facilitation of group discussions.
∎ To conduct TOT for Psychosocial Counseling including First Aid (Staff).
∎ To Provide Psychosocial Counseling to survivors of GBV.
∎ To conduct Training on GBV for referral linkage for Community (Union level).
∎ To identify survivors of GBV and ensure safe spaces through referral linkage.
∎ To make awareness campaign on early and child marriage.
∎ To organize training on business management for survivors of GBV.
∎ To organize livelihood training on different issues for the women affected by social injustice.
∎ To provide support (duck-hen, goat, small business, Sewing machine, handicrafts etc.) & orientation for survivors of SGVB and family members.
∎ To establish adolescent safe corner and menstruation management in schools/community

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Gender related work or similar position in any International/National Development Organization.
∎ She must have the following additional job requirements:
∎ Facilitation skills.
∎ Report writing (Bengali & English).
∎ KoBo collect knowledge.
∎ Good networking & communication skills.
∎ Monitoring skills.
∎ Communication, Networking & Interpersonal skill.
∎ Computer Operating Skills (MS-word, excel, PowerPoint, Net surfing) IT skills;
∎ Motorcycle driving with valid license is highly preferable

Salary:
∎ Consolidated pay of Tk 32,500/- (Thirty two thousand and five hundred) for six months Probationary period.
