• Required Qualifications and Competencies:

• Must have at least 5 years of similar experience in this field. Professional working experience with trafficking survivors.

• The capacity and willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodating in difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances;

• Communication and facilitation training.

• Skills required demonstrating:

• Communication and facilitation

• Report writing (English & Bangla)

• Use of social analytical tools participatory technique for project implementation, progress review and monitoring

• Computer literacy on MS word, Excel sheet, Power point, Internet brows, Emailing and KOBO collect.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is implementing the project “FSTIP Project” in Jashore, Jhenaidah, Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Madaripur and Barisal district with the support of Winrock International and looking for the following position:

Job Title : Program Officer (Position- 01)

Employment Status: Full time

Reportable to : Project Coordinator

Based: Madaripur.

Activity Area: Madaripur District)

Project area: Jashore, Jhenaidah, Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Barisal and Madaripur. (7 Districts)

Job Summary: The Program Officer is responsible to Project Coordination for project implementation. The Program Officer will be assisting Project Coordinator in implementing and performing overall activities of the project. Assistant project Coordinator will responsible of the project at District, Upazilla, & Union level and expected to maintain good relation with local government offices, local government institutions, NGOs, Private Sectors and civil society groups. He is responsible for assist to Project Coordinator for implementation and monitoring of the project, preparing reports and updating to Project Coordinator as instructed. Develop/strengthen capacity of the project office staff members to perform their responsibilities. He also maintains coordination and communication with project office and other field offices.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Understanding and practices of project cycle management
• Understanding and working experience on human trafficking, safe Migration, early marriage, human rights etc.
• To assist project coordinator for project activities implementation
• Organized and facilitation of Various Meeting, Workshop & Training
• Produce quantitative and qualitative report
• Conformity working with Trafficked Victims, ANIRBAN groups, Go/NGO and private sector
• Experience about networking/Partnership and advocacy process. Innovation mindset and accommodative
• Gender sensitive and child sensitive
• Skills required to project management skills and Leadership
• Communication skills with high officials of Go, NGO and Private Sector
• Report writing

Major Job Description:

• Program Officer will assist to Assistant Project Coordinator for project implementation
• Planning and implementation of project activities.
• Use monitoring tools & techniques and perform accordingly.
• Documents of project experiences, good practices, case studies develop, produce and share those as required.
• Provide technical support to the project staffs.
• Maintain proper coordination with the Project Coordinator and other concern
• Organize and facilitation various meeting, workshop and training at the project area.
• Use participatory techniques and tools in all aspects of documentation, monitoring and reporting.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by Project Coordinator and management.

Salary

Consolidated Salary: 27,000 BDT (consolidated) per month (Yearly 5% inflation)
