Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) invites applications for the following positions of SHOUHARDO III Plus Program , in partnership with CARE Bangladesh and funding support of USAID. The goal of the project is to "Improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people living in the char and haor in Bangladesh by 2024. DAM will implement the SHOUHARDO III plus program in Sunamganj ( Taherpur & Dowarabazar Upazillas) and Hobiganj ( Baniachong & Ajmiriganj Upazillas) district supported by CARE Bangladesh from November 2022 to July 2024.
∎ Program Manager(PM) (SHOIII Plus)
∎ Employment Status: Contractual Initial contract up to July 31, 2024
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for timely and quality implementation on behalf of the organization: Local Service Provider's (LSPs) capacity building, community mobilization; coordination with stakeholders and reporting.
∎ Capacity development of project staffs.
∎ Guide and support program staffs and LSPs to implement program intervention effectively.
∎ Supervise all field level activities to ensure that all staffs are working according to the project work plan. S/he will be responsible for district level coordination to ensure community and administration's buy-in; provide systematic feedback for smooth implementation of program activities in all the targeted Unions and Upazilas.
∎ Responsible for supporting the preparation and full implementation of the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Plan and Environmental Mitigation and Management Plan (EMMP) and Climate Risk Management Plan (CMP).
∎ Responsible for timely reporting (narrative, financial and MEL) and ensuring environmental, quality control and administrative/ financial compliance of the donor.
∎ Responsible for program planning (annual, quarterly and monthly plans), implementation, budgeting, financial management, staff management, report writing and monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Maintain regular liaison with the Regional Program Coordinator -Operation to plan and implement all activities and timely submission and adequate donor reporting.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years' working experience in any National/International NGO; and at least 05 years' experience in similar position, particularly in Agriculture & Livelihood and Nutrition project.
∎ Clear understanding on Livelihoods and Nutrition project dynamics integrating women empowerment, youth, private sector, market engagement and financial inclusion.
∎ Good knowledge on Gender , Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse(PSEA) & Safe Guarding policy.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Computer skill on MS word, excel, power point, virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.) and others.
