Job Context:
∎ CSF Global is an international NGO engaged in advancing research and services for persons with disabilities. CSF Global Cerebral Palsy (CP) Program is a collaborative program between the CSFGlobal (www.csf-global.org), the Asian Institute of Disability and Development (www.disabilityasia.org), Bangladesh, the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA), the University of Sydney and Central Queensland University, Australia. This program supports world-class research and service delivery projects in Bangladesh. The overall aim of this program is to conduct translational research to generate novel knowledge on CP and to develop a comprehensive service delivery model for children with CP in rural Bangladesh. Reporting directly to the Senior Program Manager, the Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ongoing projects including planning, coordination and execution of assigned research projects. The Program Manager would be mentored by Professor Mohammad Muhit (President, CSF Global) and Professor Gulam Khandaker (Lead - CSF Global CP Program) and have tremendous opportunities for academic and career development. CSF Global has a strong track record in early to mid-career research supervision and mentorship. In the last five years, CSF Global, along with its academic partners, has sponsored six PhD students (4 completed, 2 current) and three postdoctoral fellows (all current) through the CSF Global CP Program.
∎ Job Nature:
∎ This is a full-time position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension and opportunities for professional development.
∎ Job Location: The post-holder will primarily be based at CSF Global`s office in Dhaka but will be required to make frequent visits to various field sites (e.g. Shahjadpur subdistrict of the Sirajganj district).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Program Manager is a key member of the team and will have the following key
∎ responsibilities:
∎ Manage a portfolio of ongoing and proposed research projects of the CSF Global CP Program
∎ Ensure that the research team completes projects within allotted timelines and budgets
∎ Track and report on milestones and deliverables
∎ Monitor project progress and implementation of project evaluation plans
∎ Serve as a point of contact for study-related issues for key internal and external
∎ collaborators and funders
∎ Work with management to prepare project plans, budgets and schedules.
∎ Review data accuracy and overall study progress with the study team regularly
∎ Assist in preparing ethics, grant and contract applications to national and international funding and regulatory agencies
∎ Contribute to scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals
∎ Prepare scientific presentations and/or present study findings at scientific meetings
∎ Perform other duties for international projects as assigned by the program lead
∎ Contribute to wider organizational goals within local, regional and international stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven advanced project management experience in research or equivalent, with an in-depth understanding of the project life cycle and strategic development delivering projects in health related fields.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
∎ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
∎ 1-3 year(s), however, candidates with outstanding academic merit with limited experience would be considered.

Salary:
∎ Taka 50,000 gross per month.
