• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Engineering or B.Sc. in Textile Technology or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in wet processing, particularly denim washing/shifting operations in garment washing/dyeing factories.

• Strong knowledge of denim wash processes and chemical handling.

• Good understanding of production planning and shift management.

• Ability to read and follow technical wash recipes and SOPs.

• Familiarity with safety standards and PPE enforcement.

• Good reporting and documentation skills.

• Team leadership and manpower management skills.

• Awareness of sustainability and chemical waste reduction practices.

Responsible for overseeing and managing the wet process (denim washing) production shift to meet buyer requirements, production targets, and quality standards. Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, chemicals, and manpower while maintaining compliance with approved wash recipes and sustainability guidelines.

• Review and interpret shift production plans according to buyer requirements and daily production targets.

• Allocate manpower and resources efficiently across all process stages to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines.

• Ensure all machines, chemicals, and utilities are prepared and available prior to shift start.

• Follow and enforce approved wash recipes, SOPs, and process standards to maintain consistent shade and quality.

• Monitor chemical consumption and minimize waste in line with sustainability and cost-saving goals.

• Maintain accurate shift-wise production reports, documenting output, quality, and any deviations.

• Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers to ensure safety compliance.

• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and chemical departments to resolve production issues promptly.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.
