Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum bachelor's degree in textile engineering or similar.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning:
∎ Prepare loom-wise Production Plan with consultation of AGM.
∎ Ensure availability of raw material according to production plan.
∎ Receive raw material requisition from production center/s and allocate material accordingly by checking stock.
∎ Ensure all raw material stock for 30 days in central store.
∎ Ensure procurement of depleted raw materials as well as of the required quality.
∎ Maintain coordination with accounts for payment for procurement of raw materials.
∎ Coordination and Monitoring:
∎ Visit production centre/s on a regular basis to ensure smooth production.
∎ Monitor and coordinate activities through entire stages of production by regularly visiting production centre/s. Visit individual centres twice per month.
∎ Ensure proper and on-time attendance of weavers, dyeing, printing and all other workers.
∎ Ensure complete participation of all internal departments equally in 'Job'.
∎ Respond to sales departments queries and update the production team accordingly.
∎ Manage sample development of products within schedule and ensure timely delivery of raw materials at production centre.
∎ Compliance:
∎ Ensure proper execution of 'Production Centre Hygiene and Cleanliness Rules'.
∎ Ensure proper execution of 'Production Centre Safety Rules'.
∎ Make 'job wise time table' and allocate workers accordingly. (Considering adequate break for female workers).
∎ Quality Control:
∎ Check and ensure quality of deliverable products prior to actual delivery.
∎ Manage delivery of products within schedule and ensure expected quality and quantity.
∎ Reporting:
∎ Maintain and update inventory of raw materials and finished goods at central store.
∎ Perform filing, calendar creation, tracking reports, and troubleshooting complaints.
∎ Regularly update management through timely preparation and delivery of reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in handloom industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in all types of handlooms and handmade products.
∎ The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of weaving, dyeing, printing, tailoring techniques, yarn composition, jacquard, dobi & buti designs etc.
