Additional Requirements: Strong understanding of cosmetic product manufacturing, cosmeceuticals, dermatology formulation, and preservative systems.
Experience with pharmaceutical/drug-line cosmetic products will be considered an advantage.
Demonstrated expertise in production scale-up, chemical sourcing, and quality compliance.
Excellent knowledge of chemical testing, product stability, and quality assurance systems.
Effective leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams.
Responsibilities & Context: - Formulate and facilitate the development of innovative skin care, makeup, hair color, and toiletry products, including new product lines, line extensions, and product improvements for Esquire Professional Cosmetics Ltd. (A sister concern of Esquire Group)
- Identify and implement new/improved formulation technologies to meet company and market requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate product stability for formulas to ensure quality and performance.
- Enhance existing formulations to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Apply extensive knowledge of surfactants, cosmeceuticals, dermatology formulation chemistry, and preservative systems in product development.
- Lead scale-up processes for new products from laboratory trials to full-scale production.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety rules, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct testing of raw materials and packaging materials to verify quality and compliance.
- Work in close collaboration with procurement, marketing, R&D, and production teams to ensure seamless product rollout.
- Perform quality checks of raw materials and ingredients to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Carry out research and analysis of products in both national and international markets to align with trends and standards.
- Research quality chemicals and sourcing for product development.
- Perform reviews on selected chemicals to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
- Conduct proper chemical testing to formulate quality-driven and innovative products.
- Ensure accurate documentation, research records, and production process observations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs in production processes.
- Be responsible for managing resources and product deliverables within deadlines.
- Take on special projects as assigned by senior management.
