Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Master of Science (MSc) in Agronomy or Entomology or Soil Science or Agril. Chemistry
∎ B.Sc.Ag (Hons) with MBA will be highly preferred
∎ Skills Required: Business/ Product Development, creativity and innovation, Data Analysis, Fertilizer and pesticide production and development, Marketing Plan, strategic thinking and planning skills
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
agro based farm, Agro based items Marketing, Agro Marketing, Business Development or Operation Management, Business/ Product Development, Sales & Marketing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing marketing plan, yearly sales budget, and profit & loss statement for assigned products.
∎ Preparing and implementing effective promotional plans for the assigned products.
∎ Prepare & execute monthly/yearly promotional plan including promo materials & promotional activities (assigned products).
∎ Gather market intelligence by developing an effective network, sources, and reports.
∎ Understanding Crop-Pest relationships and designing/preparing/proposing effective marketing strategies.
∎ Visiting the market frequently to formulate competitive marketing strategies according to prevailing market conditions.
∎ Generating innovative ideas of product diversification for future requirements
∎ Manage and improve Inventory Turnover Ratio (DSI) through justified Inventory management.
∎ Conduct customer satisfaction surveys among farmers, channel partners & DAE and review the marketing strategies.
∎ Any other job assigned by Supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2 years of working experience in Agrochemicals Product Management will be preferable.
∎ Excellent communication, presentation, & reporting skills.
∎ Willingness for extensive traveling.
∎ Fluent in English & Bengali
Salary: Negotiable
