Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, equipment, and services needed for the production of pet food. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
Manage inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
