Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate, supervise, evaluate and plan for all procurement activities consulting with the management
∎ Manage a team and ensure all the procurement activities of the company
∎ Control and manage all the company's external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of materials for production
∎ Ensure raw materials and parts are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production
∎ Work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company and ensure quality
∎ Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned with the company's needs
∎ Identify new suppliers, develop vendor list, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements
∎ Foster close working relationships with associated departments
∎ Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external spends
∎ Assess performance of the vendors based on various criteria
∎ Manage supply chain for achievement of targets within specified parameters
∎ Perform any other relevant job as per requirement of the management
