Job Overview
Nourish Poultry & Hatchery Limited, a leading agro-based organization in Bangladesh, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Officer – Sales Accounts to join its Finance & Accounts team. The role is responsible for managing sales accounting operations, accounts receivable, customer and distributor ledgers, reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day sales accounting activities and maintain accurate accounting records.
Prepare, verify, and process sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and other billing documents.
Maintain and reconcile customer, distributor, dealer, and field agent ledgers.
Monitor accounts receivable, prepare ageing reports, and coordinate with the Sales team to ensure timely collection of outstanding dues.
Perform reconciliation of sales collections with bank deposits and maintain accurate accounting records.
Prepare periodic sales MIS reports and support monthly financial closing activities.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and maintenance of all sales-related financial records.
Assist in VAT (Output VAT), withholding tax, statutory compliance, and audit-related activities relating to sales transactions.
Coordinate with regional sales offices, distributors, and agents to resolve reconciliation issues and outstanding balances.
Support credit control activities and ensure compliance with approved credit policies.
Perform any other assignments as directed by management from time to time.
