Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement monthly and daily production plans based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
∎ Coordinate machine and manpower schedules to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
∎ Ensure timely execution of production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
∎ Monitor inventory levels of raw materials such as laminated boards, edging, accessories, and chemicals.
∎ Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of materials.
∎ Oversee the maintenance and calibration of molding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
∎ Implement and enforce quality control standards throughout the production process.
∎ Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure the delivery of defect-free products.
∎ Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to maintain high production standards.
∎ Supervise and manage production staff, including operators, technicians, and team leaders.
∎ Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
∎ Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
∎ Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
∎ Implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in plastic molding technologies.
∎ Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations within the production facility.
∎ Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
∎ Maintain records of equipment maintenance and safety inspections.
∎ Liaise with sales, marketing, and logistics departments to align production with business objectives.
∎ Communicate with showrooms and clients regarding special orders and requirements.
∎ Participate in weekly and monthly production meetings to discuss progress and address challenges.
