Additional Requirements:

∎ Education: Bachelor & Masters in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
∎ Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record of managing large-scale factory operations.Strong knowledge of FMCG manufacturing processes, machinery, and systems.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily operations of the factory, including production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain management.
∎ Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, equipment, raw materials) to meet production targets.
∎ Monitor production KPIs (efficiency, yield, downtime, etc.) and implement corrective measures as needed.
∎ Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
∎ Prepare and manage the factory’s annual budget, including cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives.
∎ Plan and implement capacity expansions or process improvements based on market demands.
∎ Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards as specified by the company and regulatory bodies.
∎ Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to address defects, customer complaints, and non-conformance issues.
∎ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Promote a culture of safety through training, audits, and adherence to safety protocols.
∎ Ensure the factory complies with local and international standards for FMCG production (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP).
∎ Lead, motivate, and mentor factory staff to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
∎ Oversee workforce planning, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
∎ Foster collaboration between departments (e.g., production, maintenance, procurement, logistics).
∎ Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Collaborate with procurement teams to secure cost-effective and reliable supply chains.
∎ Work closely with distribution teams to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
∎ Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
∎ Drive lean manufacturing practices to eliminate waste and optimize processes.
∎ Act as the primary point of contact between the factory and senior management.
∎ Provide regular reports on factory performance, challenges, and opportunities.
