Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy
∎ Registration with Bangladesh Rehabilitation Association (BRC) is required.
∎ Two years of experience working in healthcare settings as a physiotherapist needed.
∎ First Aid training with ability to perform CPR or additional emergency procedures if needed is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

∎ The physiotherapist will offer a range of services to patients with long hauler effects of COVID-19 at different primary health care facilities supported by the project.
∎ Key Result #1: Direct Patient care.
∎ Working with patients with a variety of conditions, sometimes over a period of weeks or months
∎ Review and evaluate patients through tests, movements, and history.
∎ Create and implement treatment care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
∎ Establish patient goals and benchmarks
∎ Discuss patient’s goalposts with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare team
∎ Schedule and encourage exercises and therapies for patients
∎ Observe and review patient progress
∎ Assist and demonstrate proper stretches, techniques, exercise moves, and equipment uses
∎ Educate patient family members, caretakers, or close friends on the patient’s treatment plan
∎ Recommend specialists to patients who need additional medical attention
∎ Document patient medical progress and treatment; record notes to update medical conditions
∎ Advising patients on leading a healthy lifestyle
∎ Staying up to date with developments in treatments
∎ Being caring, compassionate, and patient.
∎ Liaise with psychologists to create peer support groups for long haulers.

∎ Ability to travel to insecure countries or locations.
