Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma/Graduation in physiotherapy
∎ At least two (2) years of operational and field experience in physiotherapy
∎ Experience in emergency health activities for migrants, refugee and displaced persons will be an added value.
∎ Experience in working with UN and international health agencies will be an added value.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and therapy of patients who suffer from physical challenges caused by illnesses, injury, disability or aging.
∎ Assist in planning and organizing physiotherapy and palliative care activities
∎ Referral of patients to medical doctors or other facilities as per IOM referral guideline
∎ Facilitate physiotherapy through the provision of health facility-based services and home visits in Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazillas in Cox's Bazar
∎ Data collection and reporting as per standard template and requirements
∎ Participate in periodic coordination and team meetings at facility, Upazila and district level
∎ Facilitate training for palliative care staff in relation to physiotherapy Perform other duties as may be assigned

∎ Advantageous:
∎ Ability to communicate in local Chittagonian/Rohingya dialect will be considered advantageous.
∎ Previous experience in UN, UN Affiliate or other International organizations is an advantage
∎ Language: Fluency in both Bangla and English is required
