Job Responsibilities:

∎ Key Result #1: Pharmacy management
∎ Plan and budget for pharmacy activities;
∎ Provide professional advice and support on all issues of pharmaceutical management in the clinics, stockrooms and warehouse;
∎ Prepare and submit requisitions for Health facility pharmaceutical needs;
∎ Prepare quality compounded medicines and infusions, as may be requested;
∎ Dispense prescription and medications.
∎ Key Result #2: Advise other healthcare professionals
∎ Provide advice to Clinicians and other Health Professionals on prescriptions;
∎ Provide advice to patients and community health workers on proper use and storage of medicines.
∎ Key Result #3: Admin Support
∎ Monitor and maintain adequate medicines supplies levels;
∎ Prepare and submit periodic reports;
∎ Produce accountability for financial and other resources that may be allocated;
∎ Ensure proper storage of medicines in the facilities, reporting expired and damaged medicines.
∎ Key Result #4: Staff management and development
∎ Maintain professional and Service codes of conduct and ethics;.
∎ Supervise and appraise staff that may be assigned to support the pharmacy under his/her supervision;
∎ Carry out any other roles and responsibilities assigned by the supervisory hierarchy in relation to health service delivery in liaison with immediate supervisor.
