Responsibilities & Context:

Payroll Management & Processing

  • Handle full-cycle payroll processing for all employees in Bangladesh.

  • Maintain accurate payroll records including attendance, leave, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements.

  • Calculate salaries, taxes, and statutory contributions in compliance with Bangladesh labor laws.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and analyses using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).

  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Finance/HR teams.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to statutory and tax regulations.

  • Support audits and provide necessary payroll documentation.

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.

  • Provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in Bangladesh.

  • Solid expertise in payroll operations, statutory compliance, and payroll software.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Fluency in Bangla and English, both written and verbal.
