∎ Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role
∎ Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software
∎ Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
∎ Good knowledge of labor legislation
∎ Time-management skills
∎ Ability to handle confidential information·
∎ Ability to work under pressure·
∎ Good Communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Adequate computer knowledge and skills in MS Office operation and email communication.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Updating and maintaining payroll records.
∎ Ensuring, maintaining and follow-up daily attendance of all employees.
∎ Prepare salary payment sheets that includes OT, Festival bonus, Annual Leave Encashment etc.
∎ Prepare final settlement sheet of the employees in case of job separation.
∎ Entre new employees date in the database system.
∎ Employee's daily attendance status checkup and monthly attendance status report analysis.
∎ Distribute payment statements and gather signed receipts (digital or paper)
∎ Report on payroll expenses
∎ Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
∎ Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions.
∎ Any other responsibilities as assigned by the management
∎ Job Context:
∎ AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Phulbaria, Tetuljhora, Savar, Dhaka and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer primarily responsible for preparing salary sheet, calculating employees’ compensation, updating internal payroll databases and ensuring timely payments.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
