Pattern Development

• Create accurate garment patterns manually and/or using CAD software.
• Ensure correct pattern measurements, proportions, and garment fit.
• Interpret design sketches, technical sheets, and samples into patterns.

Sample & Fit Checking

• Develop patterns for new styles and check sample fits.
• Make necessary alterations for proper fitting as per buyer/merchandiser comments.
• Conduct trials and approve final patterns before bulk production.

Grading & Size Set

• Prepare graded patterns for different sizes.
• Ensure consistency across all size ranges.

Marker Making & Fabric Utilization

• Create efficient markers to minimize fabric wastage.
• Work closely with the cutting department for proper layout.

Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams.
• Provide technical guidance to sewing and sampling teams.

Quality & Accuracy

• Maintain pattern accuracy as per buyer requirements and garment specifications.
• Troubleshoot pattern-related issues during sample and bulk production.

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain records of patterns, markers, and grading sheets.
• Ensure proper storage and traceability of all approved patterns.

Continuous Improvement

• Suggest improvements for garment fit, cost efficiency, and production ease.
• Stay updated with latest pattern-making techniques and CAD technologies.
