Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context: Rose Bakery and Bistro is seeking a passionate and experienced Pastry Chef for its premium outlet. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in dessert creation, capable of maintaining high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
Job responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and produce a wide selection of bakery items including:
- Mousse cakes and fondant cakes
- Cookies and biscuits
- Tarts and pies.
- Desserts (brownies, tiramisu éclairs, profiteroles, panna cotta, crème brûlée)
- Follow all of the companies classic recipes and execute to perfection.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, hygiene, and visual presentation
- Monitor and manage baking schedules to ensure timely production during service hours
- Oversee ingredient inventory, ordering, and proper storage in compliance with safety guidelines
- Train, guide, and supervise junior bakers and kitchen assistants
- Ensure a clean, organized, and hygienic bakery workstation
