Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide continuous technical support to assist project officer on client selection following the IRC standard and program requirement.
∎ Different groups formation with community people to increases community engagement arranging CP activity.
∎ Rapport buildup with social welfare officer/union social worker for service providers and local government at Union parishad and Upazila, District level actively running and support the Department of Social Services (DSS) case management process.
∎ Work closely with Department of Social Services officials to ensure case management, strengthening referral mechanism
∎ Work closely with Women Protection and Empowerment (WPE), Economic Recovery and Development (ERD), Protection Rules of Law (PRoL) staff and partner staff to design activities that respond to needs and priorities identified by adolescent.
∎ Prepare and maintain/update detailed work plan(s) that support and achieve activities.
∎ Conduct regular field visits, identify new cases, child protection situation monitoring and support the implementation of project activities
∎ Take immediate initiatives/ Plan on emergency case management situation of any survivor.
∎ Regularly analysis the community situation of adolescents in the community and take initiatives.
∎ Conduct monthly/ quarterly/ yearly meeting with CBCPC and adolescent club.
∎ Introduce community people about DSS services, child rights, other relevant information and service mapping from where they seek services.
∎ Support the formation & activation of CBCPC (Committee based child protection committee) within the community level, community-based adolescent club.
∎ Collaborate with local authorities and community leaders for the child situation monitoring.
∎ Ensure that all data collection (paper and electronic) reporting tools are used accurately on every day, and are then provided on schedule to relevant staff (i.e. MEAL Officer)
∎ Monitor daily/weekly data collection to ensure that the data is managed in safe and ethical ways
∎ Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans in a timely manner, and incorporate supervisor feedback as requested
∎ Compile weekly data and narrative activity report for submission
∎ Ensure that all relevant financial, supply chain, human resources and other administrative documentation is accurately completed and submitted
∎ Work in partnership with other NGOs, Multi- Sector of UN and INGOs agencies, and government bodies to ensure coordinated efforts in child protection.
∎ Conduct and assist to arrange all Stakeholder meetings.
∎ Ensure strong communication and collaboration with other organizational sectors GBV, DRR and Livelihoods.
∎ Maintain effective working relationships with relevant partners including community-based protection mechanisms and other service providers (in particular the Child protection Units) to work collaboratively.
∎ Represent the YPSA team in host committee coordination forums, giving updates on CP activities, wider guidance on prevention approaches and advocating for the safety and well-being needs of women and girls in the response.

∎ Job Purpose of Para Social Worker: This Para Social Worker (is highly skilled to provide support to community) will provide advice, support and resources to individuals and families to help them solve their problems. Para Social workers work closely with Department of Social Services officials and with specific groups of clients, including children, the elderly and families in crisis, and help them to solve the problems they're facing work that project implementation.
