Job Description / Responsibility:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Oracle APEX Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Oracle APEX applications. This role is critical in ensuring our software is robust & smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Enhancement:

• Custom Modules: Independently design, develop, test, and deploy new modules and features using Oracle APEX.

• Workflow Optimization: Translate specific business requirements into intuitive, high-performance APEX application interfaces that streamline clinical workflows.

• Full Stack Proficiency: Utilize APEX components including Interactive Grids, Interactive Reports, Dynamic Actions, and the Universal Theme to create modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for business users.

• JavaScript/CSS Integration: Employ JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML within APEX to develop enhanced client-side validation, custom UI interactions, and optimized responsive layouts.

PL/SQL and Database Development

• Database Object Creation: Write robust, efficient, and secure Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including complex stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views to handle heavy ERP transactional data.

• Query Optimization: Proactively identify and optimize slow-running SQL queries and PL/SQL processes, particularly those involving large tables.

• Data Integrity: Maintain the highest standards of data integrity and reliability within the Oracle Software database schema, reflecting the high stakes of business data management.

Domain & Workflows

• Workflow Implementation: Apply domain knowledge of business workflows.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate directly with business and administrative stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into technical specifications for the Oracle APEX application.

Integration, Deployment & Support

• API Integration: Design and implement RESTful web services (ORDS) to facilitate secure integrations between the APEX and external systems such as third-party Mobile Apps, Bill providers, Transport Management, payment gateways, and operational device APIs.

• Lifecycle Management: Manage the full application development lifecycle, including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, UAT coordination, and production deployment processes within a IT environment.

• Issue Resolution: Perform complex troubleshooting and debugging of production issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize disruption to business operations.
