Company Name: MySoft Limited
Vacancy: 3
Age: At least 28 years
Job Location: Dhaka (Shewrapara)
Salary: Negotiable
Experience:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Oracle APEX Developer to join our Healthcare Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Oracle APEX applications, specifically within the complex and data-intensive domain of Hospital Management Software (HMS/HIS). This role is critical in ensuring our software is robust, intuitive for clinical and administrative staff, and fully compliant with healthcare data regulations.
The successful candidate will leverage their understanding of clinical workflows—such as patient registration, IPD/OPD management, laboratory billing, and pharmacy operations—to build high-performance APEX interfaces, optimize complex database queries, and integrate our HMS with other critical systems like EHRs, PACS, and third-party APIs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Enhancement (HMS Focus)
Custom Modules: Independently design, develop, test, and deploy new modules and features within the Hospital Management Software suite using Oracle APEX.
Workflow Optimization: Translate specific hospital department requirements into intuitive, high-performance APEX application interfaces that streamline clinical workflows.
Full Stack Proficiency: Utilize APEX components including Interactive Grids, Interactive Reports, Dynamic Actions, and the Universal Theme to create modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for diverse hospital staff (doctors, nurses, admin).
JavaScript/CSS Integration: Employ JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML within APEX to develop enhanced client-side validation, custom UI interactions, and optimized responsive layouts.
2. PL/SQL and Database Development
Database Object Creation: Write robust, efficient, and secure Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including complex stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views to handle heavy HMS transactional data.
Query Optimization: Proactively identify and optimize slow-running SQL queries and PL/SQL processes, particularly those involving large tables like patient history, billing records, and clinical observations.
Data Integrity: Maintain the highest standards of data integrity and reliability within the HMS database schema, reflecting the high stakes of medical data management.
3. HMS Domain & Clinical Workflows
Workflow Implementation: Apply domain knowledge of hospital workflows (e.g., ADT - Admission, Discharge, Transfer; Laboratory Information System (LIS) integration; Clinical Documentation) to ensure technical solutions align with real-world medical practices.
Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate directly with clinical and administrative stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into technical specifications for the HMS APEX application.
4. Integration, Deployment & Support
API Integration: Design and implement RESTful web services (ORDS) to facilitate secure integrations between the APEX HMS and external systems such as insurance providers, payment gateways, and medical device APIs.
Standardization: Apply knowledge of healthcare data standards, such as HL7 or FHIR, when designing data integrations. (Knowledge is a plus, not a requirement).
Lifecycle Management: Manage the full application development lifecycle, including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, UAT coordination, and production deployment processes within a healthcare IT environment.
Issue Resolution: Perform complex troubleshooting and debugging of production issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
