• Experience in embellishment (stone/stud/pearl) or accessory- related sections in large apparel factories.

• Hands-on knowledge of hot-fix machines, rhinestone design software, transfer films, and quality inspection tools.

• Strong understanding of garment wash durability, heat sealing chemistry, and trim supply chains.

GMS, a state of art and a leading national export trophy winner and one of the largest knit garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh is going to recruit "Officer/Assistant Manager - Printing (Stone Project)" for Factory Unit, located in Sardaganj, Kashimpur, Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee all stone/stud/pearl setting operations (manual, semi- automatic, and fully automated machines).

• Develop and maintain SOPs for setting pressure, heat, dwell time, adhesive type, and stone quality consistency.

• Optimize machine layout, workflow, and manpower allocation for high throughput and minimal handling loss.

• Ensure precise alignment and pattern accuracy with design and embellishment teams (CAD, embroidery, AOP departments).

• Collaborate with pattern and marker teams to ensure design registration across sizes and fabric stretches.

• Work with designers to translate creative embellishment ideas into scalable production methods.

• Source and evaluate new materials — hot-fix stones, glass pearls, studs, rhinestones, heat adhesives — ensuring durability and wash performance.

• Lead sampling and test runs to validate adhesion, color fastness, and garment compatibility.

• Introduce automation and robotics for consistent quality and reduced rework (vision alignment, laser placement).

• Establish inspection checkpoints for placement accuracy, missing stones, adhesion strength, and shine retention.

• Report daily/weekly production efficiency, rejection %, downtime, and material usage to management.

• Coordinate closely with merchandising, planning, and production teams to align deliveries with buyer timelines.

• Participate in pre-production meetings (PPM) to finalize layout, embellishment location, and tolerance standards.
