Candidates having internship/training experience in audit, accounts, or finance will get preference.
Fluency in English.
Responsibilities & Context:
GMS, a state of art and a leading national export trophy winner and one of the largest knit garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh is going to recruit "Management Trainee - Internal Audit" for Head Office & Factory Unit, located in Dhaka & Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting internal audit assignments across factory operations, commercial activities, finance, HR, inventory, and compliance functions.
Support audit planning, fieldwork, documentation, and preparation of audit reports.
Verify financial transactions, vouchers, bills, payroll records, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
Assist in physical verification of assets, warehouse inventory, and factory stores.
Analyze production, procurement, and costing data to identify irregularities or inefficiencies.
Assist in conducting surprise audits and spot checks at factories, warehouses, and corporate offices.
Prepare MIS reports, audit summaries, and management presentations.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of audit information and company records.
Assist senior auditors in fraud investigations, compliance reviews, and special audit assignments.
Visit factory units and supplier locations when required for audit purposes.
Use ERP/accounting software and Excel tools for audit analysis and reporting.
Any other tasks assigned by management time to time.
