• Strong understanding of textile/garment manufacturing machinery and their electrical requirements.

• Proactive and result-oriented mindset.

• Capable of handling critical situations.

• Good communication skills in both Bengali and English.

GMS, a state of art and a leading national export trophy winner and one of the largest knit garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh is going to recruit "Manager/Senior Manager - Electrical & Electronics" for Factory Unit, located in Sardaganj, Kashimpur, Gzipur.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment.

• Ensure maintenance for operation Knitting, Dyeing, Yarn Dyeing, AOP, Printing, Washing, Trims & Accessories machineries.

• Plan, supervise, and ensure timely maintenance of all electrical installations including HT/LT panels, transformers, generators, substations, UPS, PLC systems, lighting, etc.

• Manage and troubleshoot machinery power systems (e.g., Knitting, Dyeing, Yarn Dyeing, AOP, Printing, Washing, Trims & Accessories machineries).

• Monitor and maintain proper load distribution and electrical health of the facility.

• Lead and manage electrical maintenance teams, engineers, and technicians.

• Prepare duty schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure team performance.

• Conduct training and development for junior engineers and technical staff.

• Analyze energy consumption patterns and suggest corrective actions to reduce wastage and cost.

• Prepare and monitor energy budgets for electrical operations.

• Ensure compliance with national electrical codes, factory acts, fire safety regulations, and environmental standards.

• Coordinate electrical safety audits and rectify non-conformities.

• Assist in planning and execution of electrical infrastructure for new projects, factory expansions, or machine installations.

• Ensure quick response to any breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on energy consumption, maintenance activities, breakdowns, and project progress.

• Coordinate with production, utility, and civil departments for power requirements and project execution.

• Liaise with government bodies and utility service providers (e.g., electricity board, inspectors).

• Well conversant in RSC & LEED Requirement.
