Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/ Diploma Engineering in Civil or Wood carpentry or any relevant discipline
∎ Advance degree/ certification and/or demonstrated interest, passion, and performance in Carpentry/Craft work/Life Skills training or capacity building ventures

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reporting directly to the Senior Officer- Skill Development, the Officer - Skill Development will work collaboratively with Trainers and Centre In-Charge under Community Services project with the primary responsibility of managing the Trainers' (Masonry, Carpentry & Soft Skill development) team and all associated activities in a specific area, acting in absent of the support of Senior Officer-Skill Development as the field level representative of Save the Children in the project area.
∎ This includes supervising the trainers' team, providing technical training to the trainers, and supporting the supervisor in planning and implementing field level activities as well as maintaining close liaison with stakeholders, assisting in the development of different BCC and awareness materials, and collaborating with others support service departments in the the project objective delivery.
∎ The Officer- Life Skill is also responsible for providing project related technical support, documentation of all events, programme learning, and ensuring logistics requirements are requested in a timely manner.
∎ S/he also maintains close relationships with CICs/ACICs, participates in camp level coordination meeting.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years' working experience in relevant job role in humanitarian response program
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian compliances and humanitarian response operation modalities
∎ Basic knowledge of camp-level multi-stakeholder coordination and conceptual understanding of mobilization for life skills development initiatives at the camp level in humanitarian response context
∎ Capacity of training module preparation, development, facilitation, and reporting
∎ Familiarity with project life cycle and ability to deliver results within the stipulated timeframe
∎ Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Publisher.
∎ Fluent in English (reading, writing & speaking) and familiarity with Chittagonian language
∎ Enthusiasm, motivation, self-confidence, and a proactive approach in problem solving
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation skills and can work as part of a team
