Education:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management/Supply Chain Management.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials from local vendors to meet company requirements.

  • Ensure all goods and services purchased adhere to AKIJ Resource procurement policies and procedures.

  • Identify and establish partnerships with profitable suppliers for consistent procurement support.

  • Prepare Comparative Statements for each purchase, negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers, and establish Purchase Orders (POs) as applicable.

  • Draft, review, and finalize Contracts, Agreements, and MOUs with suppliers.

  • Implement internal procurement action plans to enhance delivery services and minimize lead times.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure seamless operational support.

  • Conduct frequent market visits to maintain current knowledge of market trends and supplier options.

  • Select, re-qualify, and manage suppliers to mitigate procurement risks.

  • Monitor and measure supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and service standards.

  • Strengthen communication and build relationships with suppliers to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Work with relevant authorities to obtain required permits and licenses for procurement activities.

  • Generate and analyze monthly procurement reports to track performance, costs, and savings.

  • Align procurement activities with company strategy to create a competitive advantage.
